A First Peek at the Metropolitan’s Reinvention

The Metropolitan, an iconic urban business & social club in the Willis Tower, is receiving a complete reinvention, as it aims to capture the needs of the evolving business professional, downtown lifestyle and the dynamic needs of today’s sophisticated Chicagoan. As the official completion date inches closer, the club is taking a new shape and feel and wants to share a complimentary preview of its new style. The Metropolitan is opening its doors to you so you can partake in an evening of sampling new foods, enjoying an experiential beverage selection, musical entertainment and a preview of the reinvention on June 21.

New Bar and Restaurant

Two key pieces of the reinvention are the bar and restaurant, Framebar and Craftsman, which will be fully operational. Framebar is an anytime, all occasion place to eat, drink and relax. The stylish space features live entertainment, a photo booth and a cabana lounge, perfect for a nightcap. The other key piece, Craftsman, is a restaurant with elevated cuisine and upscale wines, which are showcased in an inventive wine display. Craftsman features spectacular city views and an atmosphere that pays homage to a famous, renowned Chicago architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. It is the perfect location for power dinners, celebrations and personal and business entertaining.

The Reinvention

Part of the Metropolitan's reinvention includes a Chicago-focused mission to partner with Chicago vendors at every possible opportunity. Currently, they are partnered with Flowers for Dreams, KOVAL, Metropolitan Brewery, FEW, Baker Miller, Whiskey Acres, Tie Bar, Stock Manufacturing and Tiesta, and these vendors will be present at the event for members and guests to have the first-hand Chicago experience.

Spend an evening in the clouds sampling foods from the redesigned menu; enjoying drinks from the experiential beverage selection; taking in the views from the 67th floor of the Willis Tower; and sneaking a preview of the Metropolitan’s reinvention all on June 21.
